Bunya to Bay Project
Stanley River Environmental Education Centre
Element has worked with the Principal and educators at Stanley River Environmental Education Centre since 2016 to deliver a visual insight into their three-week Bunya to Bay adventurous journey for students, which runs every two years.
For each project, a highlights video of 10-15 minutes has been prepared and played for an audience at the end of the three week program, incorporating imagery that was captured right up until the day prior. Element is experienced in working to a deadline in similar conditions, particularly where photographs and videos will be displayed to a large audience at the end of an event.

Expert service and professional knowledge and skills. Lachlan could see issues ahead of time and asked the right questions to enable pre-planning.
Top notch video far exceeding my expectations with superb camera angles, screen displays and incredibly professional editing.
You truly offer an expert service that is worth every cent of the very competitive budget.
– Andrew Travis, Stanley River EEC
PIA Congress
Planning Institute of Australia
Since 2014, Element has worked closely with the Planning Institute of Australia as the chosen photographer and promotional videographer at the annual PIA Congress, both in Queensland and interstate.
The Planning Congress is a multi-day event spanning multiple rooms and sessions with a dynamic range of speakers and sessions. In photographing this event we have worked in fast paced situations and within a multitude of lighting conditions to capture the best shot.
As part of our service, we have captured many short interviews with the key planners in attendance, to promote and discuss upcoming events on the planning calendar.
In our close association with PIA QLD, we also cover the photography at two awards events throughout the year – the student project awards at Parliament House in May, and the QLD State Planning Awards in November.

Neighbourhood Play Project
Nature Play Queensland
The 2018-19 project with Nature Play Qld was a major undertaking, with the mission of creating an educational documentary around the importance of neighbourhoods for kids.
2018 saw Element documenting over 20 different shoot days and locations, capturing and managing over two consecutive day’s worth of footage. The project involved management of four staff throughout the process to document all the necessary events that took place as part of the journey.
The final project will showcase creative editing and stimulating ideas, music and sound effects, digital maps of neighbourhoods and the journey taken, and other interesting graphics such as timelines and visual effects.
Element has worked with Nature Play Qld and it’s owner organisation the Queensland Outdoor Recreation Federation (QORF) since 2011.

You and business are awesome Lachlan! You’ve really gone out of your way many times to make a project possible. Thankyou!
We love what you do and how you do it.
– Imogene Whittle, Marketing Team – Nature Play Qld
Race to Survive
Accor Hotels
Element is proud to have such a strong ongoing relationship with the Race to Survive event held by Accor Hotels, in partnership with several community charity partners.
This event includes several days of adventure and sports-based activities, mixed with indoor-based formalities and large celebration dinners. Our role involves providing general photography and video production of the event with a 2-person team; working with and posing teams for group images, capturing action shots, candid event coverage, as well as covering awards and trophy presentations.
We have been invited to travel with the event interstate on two occasions where the race was hosted in the Blue Mountains, NSW. On every occasion, the Accor brand has placed their trust in our team to capture and share professional imagery from the multi-day event.
With daily slideshows and a ‘Final Dinner Video’, Element has worked around the clock to provide immediate turnaround and high quality visuals. The week involves constant pressure, long hours and busy logistics; often including remote areas and multiple locations each day.
The Accor Race to Survive event team have built a deep trust in our ability to turn up, perform and deliver to an exceptional standard under tough conditions.

THANK YOU! I will admit that in my naivety with organising such large events, when I was told to book a video/photo guy I wasn’t sure of the value this bring. How wrong was I and what a huge help you were. I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong!
Our event is difficult and long an emotional week and the hours upon hours and extra work you put in was so over and above expectations – I can’t thank you enough. You were low maintenance, just fitted in with our team and went about doing what you do best. The final product was amazing and I will sing your praises to whomever chooses to listen and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your services to others.
– Meredith Hall – Accor Race to Survive Event Organiser 2015 & 2017
Kokoda Challenge
Kokoda Youth Foundation
One of our core missions is supporting growth and overcoming challenges, and that’s where our values align strongly with the Kokoda Youth Foundation.
We are impressed with the foundations support of young people, and what they stand for.
Element has worked with the Kokoda Youth Foundation on several key projects, the largest of which being an event video for the Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge.

The Kokoda Challenge is a unique and emotionally charged event with a rare elusive essence that is difficult to compare. Lachlan brilliantly captured its raw magnificence.
– Matt Helmers, CEO – Kokoda Youth Foundation
The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail
The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Users Association
Element has worked with the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Users Association for several years, capturing a range of different events and promoting the trail.
Getting outdoors and enjoying what the world has to offer is one of our core principals, and the Rail Trail really alligns itself with this focus.
We have shot several milestones as the trail was completed, including the promotional video “Experience the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail”, as well as many of the events they run year round.

Live Your Life Offroad
Mountain Bike Australia
We have worked with MTBA on several projects in recent years, from live-streaming to a full promotional video. In 2019, we created the promotional video ‘Live Your Life Offroad’ which they are using to encourage people to get into the world of mountain biking.
Shot over several sessions across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, Toowoomba, the Sunshine Coast and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, this project showcases some of the most scenic mountain bike destinations in the area.
