What a day at the Brisbane Roubaix (2024)

By Published On: April 8th, 2024

Element were stoked to help capture Cam Taylor’s newest event on the cycling calendar, the Brisbane Roubaix.

Despite some wild weather in the days and weeks prior, a little rain on race day wouldn’t stop the fun and adventure of this part-road and part-gravel experience.

The event pays homage to the ‘best day on the cycling calendar’, the Paris Roubaix. Connecting some of Brisbane’s best gravel via sections of road, the ride included several Strava segments up for grabs as well as a few challenging hills and creek crossings along the way.

Event Highlights:

  • Apricot Coffee & good vibes to start the day
  • Riders roll out when they’re ready and set their own pace
  • Printed Brevet Card with route map
  • Finish with a lap of the famous Nundah Crit Track.
  • Riders receive all photos free of charge to share post-event.

One week prior to the event, registered riders were emailed with a GPX file of the 100km route and starting location.

Ben was out and about on the day with his camera to capture all the action! We hope you enjoy the rest of the highlights below:
