Well that’s the question that more than one hundred mountain bike riders geared up to find out recently at the second annual Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT) End-to-End Extreme Challenge – and Element came along for the ride too.

The 161 kilometre ride from Wulkuraka in Ipswich to Yarraman at the northern end of the trail, follows the old Brisbane Valley rail line.
From end to end, it used to take six hours by train and that’s the time riders were trying to beat.

At this year’s event, on August 4, the winning time was just short, coming in at 6 hours 33 minutes.

It was a hard slog and Element’s own Lachlan Ryan was there to capture it all – from the ground and the sky.

He would have ridden alongside the competitors but drones and DSLRs are cumbersome.
But not to worry, he was ready for all the action thanks to the trusty Element-mobile.
Events like this offer a unique way to experience parts of South East Queensland that you wouldn’t otherwise see, and Element had the privilege to show it off.
